The story

I’ve loved Impalas since I was a teenager. Growing up listening to hip hop, they were always referenced. Our family had a 63 Pontiac and the body styles are very similar. I bought a rough 63 Impala in 1993 (probably influenced by Boyz In The Hood, released in 1991) and slowly fixed it up, eventually doing a body off, etc., and then as I started having kids, I sold it. I was always annoyed that I sold it. Once the kids got older, I was looking again. I found this one on Facebook Marketplace in February 2021 - out of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was already complete - painted, interior, etc. And I’ve been adding my touches since.
